The Vision
The Ground Pilates Certification curriculum is a 500 hour, form-driven, comprehensive program with a mission to produce empowered and knowledgeable Pilates instructors who focus on mindful approaches to each client as an individual. Jessica Taylor, the creator of the curriculum, has been serving clients for over 17 years and has trained many instructors over the past 10, who now span across the United States. Graduates from her teachings exhibit confidence, awareness, patience and passion for their work. Just as Joseph Pilates titled his book, “Return to Life Through Contrology”, instructors coming from The Ground curriculum are now helping clients return to their true lives and transform their wellness on a profound level.

Why Become a Pilates Instructor?
Whether you dream of guiding others as a confident, skillful teacher or you're drawn to deepen your own relationship with movement and body awareness, Pilates teacher training offers a transformative path. Learning to teach Pilates not only strengthens your understanding of anatomy, alignment, and core stability — it also reconnects you to the intelligence of your body. This journey supports both personal embodiment and professional growth, empowering you to share a practice that fosters strength, presence, and longevity.
What Makes The Ground Different?
Jessica Taylor created this curriculum through the lens of her diverse background as a professional dancer, licensed massage therapist, seasoned Pilates/Fitness educator, and Reiki Master. This unique blend brings a depth and richness that sets The Ground apart. You'll receive expanded anatomical education beyond what most certifications offer, extensive insight into working with special populations and injuries, and the confidence to offer effective hands-on cues, manual stretching, and basic touch techniques that help clients feel safe, seen, and supported in their bodies.
